Call for projects - 2024 | Labex GIMeD - Université Grenoble Alpes

Background to the call for tenders: The GIMeD labex aims to promote upstream and applied research in the field of medical devices (MD). Its priorities revolve around the following 5 axes:

In vitro microsystems for point-of-care diagnostic and organ-on-a-chip testing,
In vivo devices for monitoring and therapy,
Radiation-based imaging and theragnostic,
Devices to assist medical and surgical procedures
Regulatory, societal and ethical aspects at all stages of MD development.

The aim of the GIMeD 2024 call for projects is to fund exploratory and emerging projects carried out as part of a thesis. It is open to interdisciplinary projects in the field of medical devices in line with the research themes supported by Labex GIMeD.
The aim of this first call is to finance the equivalent of 4 theses, in the form of full funding and/or co-financing. As the community is very large for a limited budget, GIMeD's objective is to facilitate the emergence of new projects.

The call for projects for 2024 is now closed, and a new call for projects will be issued for 2025.
