Background to the call for tenders: The GIMeD labex aims to promote upstream and applied research in the field of medical devices (MD). Its priorities revolve around the following 5 axes:

1. In vitro microsystems for point-of-care diagnostic and organ-on-a-chip testing,
2. In vivo devices for monitoring and therapy,
3. Radiation-based imaging and theragnostic,
4. Devices to assist medical and surgical procedures
5. Regulatory, societal and ethical aspects at all stages of MD development.
